Quality Engineer – £40KBased in Essex | Full-time | Permanent Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with a passion for precision and continuous improvement? This is an exciting opportunity to join an established manufacturer. Your Responsibilities As a Quality Engineer, you’ll report directly to the Quality Manager and take a hands-on role in both the maintenance and improvement of quality assurance systems. Your work will include:
  • Identifying and resolving quality issues, and leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting contract reviews to ensure customer requirements are met and flowed down effectively
  • Helping to design and implement an APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) framework
  • Participating in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with relevant quality standards
  • Contributing to Lean Six Sigma projects aimed at reducing waste and process variation
What We’re Looking For We're looking for a confident, detail-driven professional with a solid background in quality within a regulated environment.
  • Ideally 2+ years’ experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Medical, or other precision-driven industry
  • Strong working knowledge of quality frameworks such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949
  • Comfortable using data and analysis to drive decisions and improvements
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and departments
