An established multi-disciplinary consultancy delivering a wide range of residential and mixed-use schemes across the East and South East of England is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Employer's Agent to join their growing team in Chelmsford.

The Senior Project Manager / Employer's Agent will lead multiple projects from inception through to completion, delivering cost-effective and high-quality outcomes for both public and private sector clients. This role will suit an experienced professional with a background in residential development, including estate regeneration, affordable housing, or mixed-tenure schemes.

Working closely with a team of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, the Senior Project Manager / Employer's Agent will manage pre- and post-contract services including feasibility studies, procurement, planning, contract administration and project delivery under Design & Build contracts. A key part of the role involves building strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors, as well as mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development efforts in the Essex region.

To be considered for the Senior Project Manager / Employer's Agent role, candidates must hold a degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Full membership of RICS, CIOB or APM is highly desirable, though candidates nearing APC or equivalent professional qualification will also be considered. A current CSCS card and full UK driving licence are essential.

Applicants must demonstrate experience acting as Employer's Agent on Design & Build contracts and should be confident managing complex projects with minimal supervision. Experience working with housing associations, local authorities or private developers is particularly beneficial.
