Role Description

The Resolute Group are partnering a proven Health & Safety Officer with a substantial background working for an M&E contractor that operates across industrial, commercial and manufacturing facilities.

The ideal Health & Safety Officer will ensure our company maintains full compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also take ownership of establishing robust policies that create and sustain a safe working environment.

Health & Safety Officer responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive safety management of project execution and on-site implementation
    * Create and implement workplace health and safety strategies that comply with regulatory requirements
    * Coordinate and manage HSE audits conducted internally, by clients, or third-party organizations
    * Establish and maintain robust safety protocols to foster a health-conscious work environment
    * Conduct thorough assessments of operational practices, protocols, and facilities to ensure risk mitigation and legal compliance
    * Deliver ongoing guidance and assistance to project managers and site supervisors regarding safety considerations in daily operations
    * Champion workplace safety initiatives and spearhead programs that encourage safe operational practices

Health and Safety Officer Required Experience

  • Seeking candidates with 5+ years of experience, ideally in Electrical bias
    * Beneficial qualifications include: Manual Handling, Working at Height, and Abrasive Wheels instruction certifications
    * Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
    * Demonstrated proficiency in conducting and documenting accident investigations required
