Payroll & People AdvisorFull-time | Permanent | Hybrid (1 day in office/week)Salary: £26,315 – £30,959The Role Seeking a detail-oriented payroll professional to manage high-volume transactions, resolve complex queries, and ensure accurate payroll processing. This role includes supporting user acceptance testing, advising on statutory legislation, and contributing to service improvements.Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate payroll data entry and processing.
  • Resolve payroll queries within SLA timelines.
  • Process statutory deductions (e.g., tax, NI, pensions).
  • Compile employment contracts and support self-service.
  • Conduct system testing and support service optimisation.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of HMRC absence legislation.
  • Experience with tax, NI, pensions, and payroll systems.
  • Confident in employment contract creation and UAT.
  • Working towards or holding CIPP qualification desirable.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
