Quality Inspector

£26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hours of work Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4pm and Friday 7.30am – 3pm (39hrs per week)

Are you an experienced Engineering Apprentice or time served within Manufacturing- looking for a new opportunity? Would you like to work for a successful, Global Manufacturing Business ?

The Role
You will be conducting internal audits, conduct and record calibration activities and be responsible for measurement and inspection of turned, ground and assembled components.

Key Responsibilities –

Inspection of in-process and completed components within turning/grinding and assembly departments
Goods-in inspection and documentation (materials, components and subcontract)
Conduct internal audits
Assist with machine trials

Required Skills –

Ability to read and use manual inspection equipment including micrometers, Vernier’s and protractors
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Good understanding of Word and Excel
Highly motivated
Attention to detail

Experience & Education

Qualified to HNC level or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
Completed Engineering Apprenticeship
Internal Auditing qualification
Time Served in either quality focussed role or within manufacturing

Salary & Benefits

Salary between £26,000 & £30,000 dependent on Skills & Experience
Benefits; 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (FTE), pension scheme, private health care option, cycle to work scheme, free coffee/tea.
