Outreach SEN Tutor - Essex & Kent

Are you an experienced tutor or educator passionate about making a difference in the lives of SEN students? We are looking for Qualified and Unqualified Outreach Tutors to support students with additional needs, including those under CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) and those requiring bespoke education plans outside of mainstream settings.

The Role:
  • Deliver tailored one-to-one or small group sessions for SEN students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.

  • Provide structured learning in homes, community settings, or alternative provisions.

  • Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and professionals to create and implement personalised learning plans.

  • Support students with academic, emotional, and social development through engaging and differentiated teaching approaches.

  • Travel across Essex and Kent to meet students' individual needs.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with SEN students (mainstream or specialist settings).

  • Knowledge of CAMHS, EHCPs, and alternative education pathways.

  • Qualified Tutors (QTS, PGCE, Level 3 Education & Training, or equivalent) OR Unqualified Tutors with strong SEN experience.

  • Ability to engage, motivate, and adapt teaching for diverse learning needs.

  • Resilience, patience, and a commitment to empowering young people.
