Job Title: SEN Class Teacher
Location: Chelmsford
Salary Range: £100 - £230 per day (depending on experience)
Start Time: Immediately / September 2025

GSL Education are excited to be recruiting enthusiastic and nurturing SEN Class Teacher to work in a variety of specialist and mainstream settings across Chelmsford starting this September.
About the Role
As an SEN Class Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored education to students with a range of additional needs. Responsibilities of an SEN Class Teacher:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement EHCPs.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers.
- Uphold high standards of safeguarding and student welfare.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or MLD.
- Strong behaviour management and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
