About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored education programs to pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with dedicated staff, external specialists, and families to ensure each student receives the best possible support to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting approaches as necessary
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues, and external professionals
- Promote independence, confidence, and well-being among pupils
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential—training and support will be provided
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support pupils with diverse needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible, proactive, and dedicated approach to teaching
