Must have’s

  • Previous experience in a Commercial, Business, or Financial Analyst role
  • Proven track record of building forecast models in Excel
  • Strong commercial insight and analytical thinking
  • Experience setting up and delivering weekly/monthly reporting
  • A solid grasp of pricing and promotional management best practices
  • Comfortable interpreting and communicating financial data to stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with supplier income and margin forecasting

Nice to Have’s

  • Experience in the foodservice, FMCG, or wholesale sector
  • Understanding of supplier terms, buying group structures, or London Market practices
  • Previous experience working in a trading, sales, or buying function
  • A proactive approach to process improvement and problem-solving

What you’ll be doing

  • Building and delivering accurate financial forecasts and management reports
  • Preparing monthly board decks, insight packs, and supplier performance updates
  • Analysing supplier and product mix to optimise margin
  • Supporting with CRG reconciliation, pricing strategy, and promotional tracking
  • Partnering with the Commercial Director and Trading team to deliver insight-led recommendations
  • Identifying commercial opportunities based on market, pricing, and supplier data
  • Supporting cost management and budget planning
  • Ensuring robust, clean data and regulatory compliance
  • Driving process improvements and reporting best practices
