We are seeking a Document Controller to play a crucial role in the commissioning of data centre projects. This position involves the meticulous collection, organisation, and management of all technical documentation during the testing, commissioning, and handover phases. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality of documentation, facilitating effective knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

Day-to-day of the role:

Ensure all technical files and drawings are correctly filed, named, and processed through the project workflow in a timely manner.

Collate testing packs and technical handover packs, ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant.

Expedite late documentation from various stakeholders, including ensuring all technical handover information and testing documentation is accurate and complete.

Promote collaboration among all project stakeholders and ensure effective communication regarding document requirements.

Introduce and manage a simple and effective review process for technical documents, reducing workload and enhancing project efficiency.

Responsible for the final collation of all technical and commissioning documentation at project handover.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in document control, preferably within technical, construction or engineering projects.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

Proficient in using document management systems and ensuring compliance with project procedures.
