The school supports children and young people aged 5-11 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, many who have faced trauma, present challenging behaviour or have early experiences of neglect. This Behaviour Support Worker is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in education, psychology, youth work, or social care. This Behaviour Support Worker role will give you practical experience to develop your skills in a supportive and rewarding environment where you are really making the difference to the children's lives. Experience is preferred but not essential- training is provided.

The Role:

  • Supporting and assisting students with behaviour and emotional regulation in and out of the classroom.
  • Building positive, trusting relationships to encourage engagement and progress.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, educational therapists, and external professionals to deliver consistent support.
