Job Overview:Atlantis Medical is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the inpatient team at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospital. This role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality physiotherapy care to patients within an inpatient setting, supporting their rehabilitation and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for patients with a range of medical conditions in an inpatient setting.

  • Work collaboratively with nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs tailored to patient needs, promoting mobility and independence.

  • Conduct regular patient progress reviews and adapt treatment plans accordingly.

  • Provide education and advice to patients, families, and carers regarding rehabilitation and self-management techniques.

  • Maintain accurate patient records in line with NHS standards and guidelines.

  • Participate in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions for patients leaving the hospital.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.

  • Previous NHS experience in an inpatient setting is essential.

  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in rehabilitation, post-operative care, or general medical wards is desirable.
