Job Overview:Atlantis Medical is seeking a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the inpatient team at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospital. This role involves working alongside senior physiotherapists and a multidisciplinary team to provide physiotherapy care to patients within an inpatient setting, supporting their rehabilitation and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in assessing and delivering treatment plans for patients with a range of medical conditions in an inpatient setting.

  • Work collaboratively with nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Support the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs tailored to patient needs.

  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to senior physiotherapy staff.

  • Provide education and advice to patients, families, and carers regarding rehabilitation and self-management techniques.

  • Maintain accurate patient records in line with NHS standards and guidelines.

  • Participate in discharge planning to help facilitate smooth transitions for patients leaving the hospital.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.

  • Previous NHS experience in an inpatient setting is essential.

  • Good clinical assessment and treatment skills.

  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to learn and develop under supervision.

  • Experience in rehabilitation or general medical wards is desirable.
