We're delighted to be working with an established care provider seeking an experienced and passionate Home Manager to take the lead at a well-regarded dementia care home in Buckinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic leader who thrives on driving quality and empowering their team to deliver truly person-centred care.

Located in the Chesham area in Buckinghamshire, the home benefits from a loyal and skilled team, including a very experienced and passionate Deputy Manager.

About the Role:

As Home Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall leadership, regulatory compliance, and smooth day-to-day running of the home. You will champion high standards of care, foster a positive team culture, and ensure robust systems are in place to maintain compliance and continually improve outcomes for residents.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Home Manager within elderly care
  • Strong track record of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
  • Proven ability to engage, motivate, and develop staff teams
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Skilled in budget planning and financial oversight
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance frameworks
  • Confident IT user with solid skills in Word and Excel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure effective auditing systems are in place
  • Manage complaints proactively, with a focus on resolution and learning
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop staff, ensuring training is up to date
  • Oversee budgets and contribute to wider business planning
  • Build strong community links and promote the home's reputation locally
