Are you confident, calm under pressure, and passionate about helping students achieve their best? We are seeking an enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to support students in Chesham starting September 2025. This role is perfect for someone with experience in behaviour management, youth work, or mentoring who wants to make a real difference to young people’s education and emotional well-being.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support students in class and small group interventions

  • Help remove barriers to learning caused by behavioural or emotional challenges

  • Mentor students to develop confidence, motivation, and resilience

  • Assist teachers in maintaining a calm, respectful classroom environment

  • Record behaviour incidents and contribute to intervention strategies

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience supporting students with behavioural needs in schools or youth settings

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly

  • Calm, patient, and consistent approach

  • Commitment to promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation

  • Team player with a growth mindset

  • Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)
