About the Role:
- Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that foster curiosity and global awareness
- Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners
- Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policies
- Participate in departmental planning and school-wide enrichment activities
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Have experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting
- Be passionate about the subject and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Possess strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be dedicated to student achievement, wellbeing, and safeguarding
- Demonstrate adaptability, enthusiasm, and a collaborative approach
