About the Role:
- Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that bring historical events and themes to life
- Foster critical thinking, debate, and a love for learning in your students
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop high-quality resources and curriculum planning
- Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome)
- Have experience teaching History in a secondary school setting
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching
- Be committed to raising attainment and fostering a positive learning environment
- Possess strong communication and classroom management skills
- Be dedicated to inclusion, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
