  • MTrec are currently recruiting for a highly successful manufacturing firm based in the Durham area.

The Jobs You’ll Do

  • Following both basic engineering drawings
  • MIG welding of mild steel products
  • Following both basic engineering drawings
  • Primarily working with pipe work rather than plate work
  • Burning, chamfering, gouging, arc air gauging and plasma cutting
  • Operation of a guillotine and pedestal drill
  • Measuring and completing preparation work prior to starting the welding process
  • Fabrication duties to be completed on both Carbon and Stainless steel products
  • Aspects of lifting products

About You;

  • Ideally should have followed engineering drawings
  • Must be able to work both individually for long period of time after training, and in a team.
  • Should be comfortable working on a day shift only role.
  • Should be time served with certifications.
  • Ideally should have served an apprenticeship, however candidates who have previous experience in welding would be considered
