Axon Moore are exclusively partnered with a high growth global manufacuturing business in securing a Commercial Financial Controller to act as number 1 in their Chester site. As Commercial Financial Controller you will be driving business performance and shaping site strategy alongside the Site Manager whilst overseeing a small team and ensuring a fit for purpose finance function in line with business growth.The Role;
  • Leading a small yet growing and high performing finance team through a period of growth
  • Driving commercial performance across the site including profitability, costings, line efficiencies and margin analysis
  • Ensuring a continually fit for purpose and compliant finance function
  • Leading the month end processes including board pack generation and variance analysis
  • Oversight of the annual investment plan including facilitating new ventures
  • Business partnering with non finance including sales, supply chain and operations
  • Supporting other ad-hoc projects as required
The individual;
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Highly commercial with the ability to drive performance 
  • Must have experience of operating within a manufacturing environment 
  • Capable leader with experience of managing and developing a team
