The Opportunity
As Financial Controller, you will be the right hand to the Finance Director, leading the finance team and ensuring best in class financial governance, systems, and reporting. You'll be pivotal in strengthening internal controls, optimising performance, and delivering the financial insight needed to support high level strategic decisions.
This is a dynamic role offering broad exposure and the freedom to develop and embed robust financial processes that will scale with the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day to day operations of the finance function, including development of team members and driving high standards.
- Oversee month end close, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all reporting cycles.
- Partner with the FP&A function to deliver high quality financial reports, budgets, and forward looking forecasts.
- Ensure adherence to corporate tax requirements and manage all statutory reporting obligations.
- Maintain strong control over supplier payments and purchase ledgers, building trusted relationships with external partners.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to support funding, reporting, and strategic finance projects.
- Identify and implement technology solutions that improve financial processes, efficiency, and reporting capability.
About You:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with a minimum of 5 year's experience in a similar role.
- A confident communicator with the ability to influence across all levels of the business.
- Proven experience leading and developing finance teams.
- Comfortable driving systems and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, commercially aware, and solutions-focused.
