Are you a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias looking for the next exciting step in your career?
Russell Taylor Recruitment are recruiting a Shift Engineer to join our client's rapidly growing team in Cheshire.
The role:
- Support and diagnose engineering breakdowns
- Enhance, repair, and maintain plant equipment and services according to the preventive maintenance schedule
- Install new machinery and equipment
- Lead continuous improvement projects during planned downtime
- Request spares and consumables
- Meet individual performance measures such as downtime, work order closeouts, and equipment availability
- Support a preventive maintenance strategy
- Undertake predictive, preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records and report on completed work
The candidate:
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Time-served Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (ONC/HNC or equivalent)
- 17th or 18th edition
- Extensive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience maintaining high-speed manufacturing equipment
- Compliance with health and safety legislation
- FMCG background would be advantageous
