The Company:

My client have been successfully operating in the Birmingham area for years. They re part of a larger group and operate in 35 countries world wide. They are constantly innovating and bringing new ideas to the market, this has enabled them to grow from strength to strength and are currently expanding due to a full order book. They are looking for mechanically biased maintenance engineer. You will be time served in mechanical maintenance and have been on the tools for at least 5 years. You MUST have experience working in manufacturing. Some the machines you will be working include Extruders, pumps and much more.

Experience required for the maintenance engineer:

 

  • Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) MUST be level 3 in a mechanical discipline
  • At least 2 year’s experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer  
  • Good Mechanical competence – change bearing straps, belts, chains etc
  • Any Mechanical Maintenance Engineer from manufacturing or ex-forces welcome to apply – FMCG, Food, plastic, packaging, Pharmaceutical, foundry, brick, distribution, automotive, metals, RAF, Navy, army, military, etc.
