ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT - £32,000 to £42,000 + Benefits

A respected environmental and acoustic consultancy is seeking an experienced ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT to join its growing team in Chesterfield. This role is ideal for someone with 3-4 years of consultancy experience who is ready to take on more responsibility, manage projects, and strengthen client relationships.

As an ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT, you'll work across environmental noise, building acoustics, and infrastructure projects. Your role will include noise and vibration monitoring, acoustic modelling, and the production of high-quality technical reports. You will also liaise directly with clients, planners, and regulators, helping to ensure successful project delivery.

We are looking for an ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT with:

  • 3-4 years' experience in acoustic consultancy

  • Strong knowledge of BS4142, BS8233, BB93, and environmental noise regulations

  • Proficiency in CadnaA, SoundPLAN, or similar modelling software

  • Excellent communication, reporting, and organisational skills

  • A degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline

  • Full UK driving licence

This Chesterfield-based role offers a £32,000 to £42,000 salary, hybrid working options, pension scheme, private healthcare, CPD funding, and a clear path to Senior Consultant level.
