Job Purpose
Responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023, legal and regulatory standards, and delivering value for money. Acts as a key link between suppliers, internal teams, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of contract management processes aligned with legislation.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance.
- Provide expert guidance on contract and risk management.
- Identify and drive process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and support dispute resolution.
- Deliver training to promote best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in public sector contract management.
- In-depth knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and contract law.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and resolution skills.
- Analytical, organisational, and project management expertise.
- High attention to detail and clear communication.
Qualifications
- CIPS Level 4 or equivalent (Desirable)
- 4 GCSEs A-C/9-4 including English & Maths (Essential)
