Job Purpose

Responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023, legal and regulatory standards, and delivering value for money. Acts as a key link between suppliers, internal teams, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of contract management processes aligned with legislation.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on contract and risk management.
  • Identify and drive process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and support dispute resolution.
  • Deliver training to promote best practices.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in public sector contract management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and contract law.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and resolution skills.
  • Analytical, organisational, and project management expertise.
  • High attention to detail and clear communication.

Qualifications

  • CIPS Level 4 or equivalent (Desirable)
  • 4 GCSEs A-C/9-4 including English & Maths (Essential)
