Salary: 50,000.00 + bonus and benefits
Summary:
An experienced, customer focused and data led Transport Manager is required to ensure that the highest standards of quality, efficiency, compliance and service are delivered across this multi-site operation. You will be managing an in-house fleet of vehicles and drivers as well as a large 3PL contract delivering to retailers. Must have a CPC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a high performing team, conduct performance management and develop a succession planning strategy
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in transport operations
- Implement internal audits and compliance assessments
- Manage and control the transport budget
- Drive cost saving initiatives
- Optimise transport planning using data driven insights and enhance route efficiency and vehicle utilisation
- Hold the Operator Licence and ensure full regulatory compliance
- Monitor 3PL contract
Experience:
- Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) required
- Proven track record of service excellence and on-time delivery performance
- Expertise in transport planning systems and scheduling methodologies
- Strong organisational skills and financial acumen
- Able to successfully manage and motivate transport teams
- Experienced with the management of 3PL logistics contract
- Develop and implement strategic transport solutions to support business growth.
