Prospero Teaching have a number of exciting opportunities for experienced education professionals to provide 1:1 tuition to young people in Chichester and the local area. This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to learners who need additional support.
As a Tutor, you will:
- Deliver tailored tuition sessions to learners with SEN, SEMH, trauma-related needs, or those at risk of permanent exclusion (PEX).
- Plan and prepare sessions that are structured, practical, and paced appropriately.
- Build positive relationships and provide a safe, supportive learning environment.
About you:
- At least 1 year of experience in UK schools in roles such as:
- Tutor
- Teacher
- Cover Supervisor
- Teaching Assistant
- ELSA
- 1:1 Support
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons.
- Empathy and resilience when working with learners with additional needs.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
- Experience of working with learners with SEN

- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide references upon request
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
