Responsible for developing and leading MDT teams, and taking a pivotal role in shaping innovative change and positive transformation around the clinical services offered, with patients and families at the heart of everything they do.
Please note that due to the operational nature of this position, this is an mainly onsite role with limited opportunities to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving performance and success across the teams and actively developing and implementing plans that support the overall strategic vision of the organisation;
- Working within the wider the Executive Team, reporting to the Chief Executive and taking ownership in determining short, medium and longer term strategies for the overall clinical functions delivery and development;
- Providing strategic leadership and direction to teams, influencing, engaging, and inspiring positive action through innovative and compelling communication of visions and ambitions for the organisation;
- Promote a transparent culture which monitors and manages incidents and risks, identify trends and action plans to mitigate against risk and report against them;
- Support the continuous development of outstanding governance and support the teams related by promoting open and honest reporting and discussions related;
- A current clinical registration with the NMC as an RGN, ideally additional qualifications within the specific area of Palliative Care;
- Proven track record of working at Director level within a similar healthcare organisation, alongside leadership and clinical strategy development experience within this field;
- Excellent communication and political awareness with the ability to influence individuals and
- groups at all levels;

- A proven ability to motivate, lead and engage staff and can consistently display the highest standards in personal and professional integrity and a strong sense of ethics.
