Axon Moore is proud to once again be partnering with a highly successful, PE-backed business based in Chorley, currently experiencing exceptional growth driven by strategic acquisitions. As a result of this continued expansion, the business is looking to appoint a part-qualified Financial Accountant to join their dynamic Group finance team.This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with and be mentored by two experienced and supportive senior finance professionals. It’s an ideal role for a part-qualified or finalist candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit and a driven, ambitious mindset. The successful individual will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and should be confident using Excel, with a solid understanding of double entry bookkeeping.Responsibilities include:
  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly board packs
  • Assisting with balance sheet reconciliation
  • Assisting with audit & tax queries
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Post-acquisition progress reporting & preparation of completion accounts
  • Preparation and review of earnout calculations
  • Assisting with preparation of FCA returns
  • Support the delivery of other ad-hoc projects as required
