Specialising in bulk material handling systems, the company operates across multiple sectors with expertise in tunnelling, aggregates, and ports. The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to be based at the client’s Adlington office. This dynamic role will involve frequent travel across Europe, so a willingness and ability to travel is essential.

The Site Manager will oversee site-based activities across various disciplines, including mechanical and structural assembly, electrical installation and commissioning, and civil construction. You will be responsible for mobilisation planning, contractor coordination, staff inductions, and ensuring all welfare, documentation, and equipment are in place to support efficient project delivery.

This is a key role in ensuring that site operations begin on time, are adequately resourced, and meet the project’s quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • HNC qualification in a technical or engineering discipline

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Formal Site Management qualification (e.g., CSCS Black Card or equivalent)

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification

  • Solid understanding of construction methods and technology

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction sector

  • Familiarity with steel construction, conveyor systems, materials handling equipment, lifting operations, and interpreting construction documentation

  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations
