About the Role:
As aSenior Care Assistant, you will act as a role model, offering guidance and support to the care team. You will be responsible for administering medication, identifying signs of deterioration in residents conditions, and directing care appropriately. The role requires confidence in liaising with healthcare professionals and promoting high standards of care.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in elderly care and dementia care settings.
  • Demonstrated experience working overnight shifts and a genuine commitment to person-centred care.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and support the care assistants, providing knowledge and a caring management style.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop personalised care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements set by the Care Quality Commission.
