My client is a Top 20 Accountancy firm and they are looking for an Audit and Accounts Manager or Assistant Manager to join their team in Christchurch .
This is a client facing role with the opportunity to establish strong relationships across their extensive portfolio of audit clients in the SME sector and comes with excellent prospects for career development.
Responsibilities :
• Either assist with or have responsibility for managing and reviewing audits
• Training and mentoring of junior staff
• Complete or work as part of a team to complete complex areas of audit files
• Complete or work as part of a team to deal with non-routine accounting transactions within audits
• Prepare audit files for RI review
• Show keen interest in whole firm
• Improve systems and efficiencies
Requirements:
• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Minimum of 2 years PQE at Senior level
• Previous Audit experience in practice
• Advanced level of technical knowledge in auditing and accounting standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective client relationships
• Collaborative team player
• Pro-active, shows initiative, exercise judgement and take ownership of tasks from start to finish
• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
• Ambitious
