Job

The role of Purchase Ledger Assistant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Delivering an efficient and responsive purchase ledger and payments service
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and processing invoices and payments
  • Liaising with suppliers and managing queries effectively
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems
  • Contributing to month and year-end financial reporting and audit preparations

You

As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Collaborative work ethic, aligned with our values of Compassion, Contribution, and Change-making
  • Customer-focused approach with a passion for meeting stakeholders' needs
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel, with a keenness to learn and adapt
  • Experience in finance or a related field, with not-for-profit sector experience being a bonus
  • Recognised accounting qualification is desirable but not essential
