Are you passionate about supporting young learners to unlock their full potential in English? We are seeking a dedicated English Intervention Specialist to join a vibrant secondary school located in the Clacton-on-Sea area.
About the Role:
As an English Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with students who require targeted support to improve their reading, writing, and comprehension skills. You will deliver tailored interventions designed to boost confidence, accelerate progress, and foster a love of language.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-based English interventions
Assess student needs and track progress effectively
Collaborate with teaching staff and SEN teams to support individual learning plans
Help raise standards of literacy across the school
What Were Looking For:
Experience working with secondary school students, preferably in English or literacy interventions
Strong knowledge of English curriculum and intervention strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and patient approach to supporting learners
Location: Clacton-on-Sea, Essex
