Role OverviewThis is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design within a supportive and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components, contributing to real-world engineering projects from concept through to delivery. For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway to progress into a Project Engineering role.Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of mechanical systems and assemblies
• Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using SolidWorks
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, specifications, and reports
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to engineering problem-solving
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and compliance
• Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards and health & safety regulations
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and grow within a professional engineering environment
• Understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
