What You’ll Do

As a Graduate Engineer, you will:

· Travel to sites to advise on installation or to assist Sales with equipment selection.

  • Provide onsite technical assistance and support to our installation and service teams.
  • Identifying opportunities for new equipment and planned maintenance.
  • Recording the initial enquiry and provide technical support to customers
  • Liaise with manufacturers to provide technical support to customers and Field Engineers
  • Go to manufacturers for technical training
  • Preparing and issuing quotations in a prompt, accurate and timely manner
  • Following up quotations and responding to queries for new equipment.
  • Updating customer account details on Sage in response to approved credit accounts
  • Attend trade shows where the company is exhibiting to work the trade stand
  • Create marketing case studies and reference projects with the marketing team
  • Contact potential customers to promote solutions and products
  • Work to achieve a sales target and to increase company sales
  • Regularly meet with the Sales Manager to review sales and projects working on
  • Maintain and develop customer long term relationships
  • Identify and develop all commercial opportunities for both equipment, planned maintenance and spare parts.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree (BEng/MEng) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Some experience through internships, placements, or university projects is desirable.
