This is an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join a company based in Colchester on a temp to perm basis. The hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm (30-minute break) and Friday 8:30am-2pm (no break or 8am with 30-minute break). Who doesn't like an early finish every Friday? The salary is between 13.50-14.30 per hour and this is a fully office-based role with free parking onsite.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Responding to email and telephone enquiries and resolving any queries in a professional manner
  • Creating customer quotations and gathering information to pass details onto the sales team to follow up
  • Uploading sale order records and documents onto the CRM system and maintaining customer information
  • Completing customer orders placed on the system, and sending order confirmations, ensuring all details are accurate
  • Scheduling deliveries and organising product dispatch with logistics providers
  • Coordinating with internal departments when required
  • Supporting with general office tasks such as filing, reporting and data entry duties for the sales department

To be successful for this position, you must have previous experience in a sales support, admin, or customer-facing role within an office environment. You must have excellent organisation and communication skills with the ability to multi-task and manage your own workload to meet deadlines. You must also be confident using different Microsoft packages such as Outlook and Excel, and experience with ERP/CRM systems would be an advantage.

You must be available to begin with 1-2 week's notice and be seeking a long-term position.
