*Urgently needed* - Weekend Chef
£19 per hour, 14 hours per week, 07:00 - 14:00 Saturday & Sunday
There is an option for an extra 8 hours a week on a Tuesday and Friday 14:00 - 18:00 if interested. This is at a rate of £12.21ph.
The Role:
We are seeking a talented Weekend Chef to join our catering team based at a care home in Colchester.You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diverse catering services.
This role is perfect for current Chefs with Care experience looking to further develop their careers within anaward-winning fresh food catering company. You must be a real foodie with your finger on the pulse, passionate about creating high-quality meals in a modern, dynamic workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare fresh, daily changing menus for breakfast and lunch.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
- Managing Food Safety, Health & Safety and Allergens legislation.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.
- Ensuring all HACCP and Allergen policies are met and due diligence is completed accurately.
Rate of pay:
£19ph for Saturday and Sunday
£12.21 for Tuesday and Friday (should you want the extra work)
