Industrial Sales Manager
Annual Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Location: Colchester (Remote considered for the right candidate)

Reed I Colchester are delighted to be supporting our client seeking a high-performing Industrial Sales Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This strategic position focuses on building and managing relationships with industrial users of their systems and channel partners across various sectors. The ideal candidate will be experienced in developing and executing sales strategies to expand market reach and deliver growth in sales.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market reach and increase sales
- Identify, qualify, onboard, and manage key customers, specifiers, and partners, ensuring alignment with companies’ industrial products and company goals
- Provide partners with the necessary resources and training to effectively sell products on behalf of the company
- Spend a significant amount of time out of the office, meeting with prospects and partners to build and maintain strong relationships
- Prioritise tasks, manage sales activities, and meet deadlines effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in industrial sales.
- Deep understanding of water treatment products and the related industrial markets, especially within water disinfection products.
- Experience in qualifying and prospecting for new clients.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, and written skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and effectively communicate product information
- Solid understanding of the sales cycle, purchasing process, and sales techniques in industrial sales
- Ability to develop and execute direct sales and channel strategies, aligned with the company’s goals
- Effective time management skills
- Graduate degree preferred.
