Barker Munro Recruitment is seeking an Account Handler to support the Corporate team within our client, a large Broker, dealing with the administration of clients’ insurance requirements, including general enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotations and invoicing of premiums.
Working for this professional team you will be dealing with Mid-Market / Corporate clients. We are seeking a candidate with a passion for providing excellent service to your clients and be excited about the prospect of working with a growing insurance broker that’s making a real impact in the market.
This is a full-time, permanent position with the option to work 2-3 days per week in the Colchester office for a balanced work experience.
Additional responsibilities include liaising effectively with the Account Executive to ensure an appropriate strategy for renewal, attending client meetings as necessary, obtaining renewal terms and issuing renewal documentation.
We are seeking applicants with a solid commercial broking experience and ideally progress with CII qualification or a desire to study. You should be able to broke and manage the renewal process from start to finish. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills and have good attention to detail. You will have strong client service skills and good negotiation and broking skills.
