Job Advert: Year 6 Teaching Assistant - Outstanding Primary School, Colchester
Are you an experienced Year 6 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in an Outstanding primary school? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our welcoming team in Colchester, supporting our brilliant pupils as they prepare for their SATs.
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant teaching assistant experience, ideally within Key Stage 2
- Experience working with pupils with ASD
- A passion for high-quality education and inclusive practice
- The ability to support learning across a whole Year 6 class, as well as deliver small-group interventions and PPA cover
In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher to support learning, encourage independence, and help pupils achieve their full potential. Your hours will vary across the week and will be discussed during interview. This is a position to start as soon as possible.
