We are now looking for a motivated Commercial Claims Handler to join our team in Colchester (Bury St Edmunds; Norwich or Cambridge office).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a portfolio of commercial insurance claims from notification to settlement.

  • Assess policy cover, liaise with brokers, insurers, and other stakeholders.

  • Manage claims across various commercial lines including property, liability, and motor.

  • Ensure timely and accurate claims processing in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Keep clients informed and supported throughout the claims journey.

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting and claims analysis.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in commercial claims handling (essential).

  • Strong understanding of insurance policies and the claims process.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Good IT skills, including experience with claims management systems.
