POSITION OVERVIEW Location: Colchester, CO2 region
Working Hours: 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
Contract Duration: 1-2 months initially (covering permanent vacancy)
Hourly Rate: 13.50 - 15.83 per hour
Permanent Equivalent Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum
ROLE DESCRIPTION Our client seeks a skilled Plant Engineer to join their rapidly developing construction division, ensuring plant equipment is maintained to exemplary standards whilst consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Conduct equipment repair and pre-hire inspections
- Execute comprehensive maintenance programmes for construction equipment
- Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
- Undertake systematic service and inspection protocols
- Maintain equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality and regulatory compliance
