Responsibilities:

Teaching: Deliver high-quality lessons in Maths that support the development of students' knowledge and understanding.
Curriculum Provision: Support subject leaders in ensuring high-quality lesson plans and schemes of work that engage and enrich students' learning.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Report on internal and external assessments to help determine students' progress and attainment.
Pastoral Care: Work with the Head of Character Development and Wellbeing to support and deliver high-quality pastoral care to students.
Whole School Support: Contribute to faculty and whole school development priorities, including supervision duties as per the school rota.

Key Duties:

Develop and implement schemes of work and resources for Maths.
Participate actively in the school's co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes.
Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons.
Support subject leaders in creating engaging lesson plans.
Monitor and report on student progress and attainment.

Professional Development:

Attend and engage with continuous professional development sessions.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to support the development of high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
Stay updated with the latest educational practices and methodologies.
Participate in self-evaluation and improvement initiatives.
Commit to personal and professional growth.

Qualifications:

A good university degree.
Qualified teacher status (QTS).
PGCE or equivalent.
Experience as an exemplary classroom practitioner.
Awareness of curriculum issues related to Maths.
