A well-established engineering company located on the outskirts of Colchester are currently recruiting for a Welder / Fabricator to join their team on a temporary - permanent basis.
Who are the company?
This business has been around for over 60 years' and provide structural & architectural metal work to the construction sector, both commercial and residential.
This is a temporary - permanent role which is paying between 14 - 16 per hour (depending upon experience).
What will the position involve?
- As a Welder / Fabricator you will be welding of structural and architectural metalwork which include staircases, lintels & balconies
- MIG welding & fabricating
- Use of fabrication machinery such as brake presses and guillotines etc
- Quality control of work, ensuring that all welding is up to required standards
Candidate requirements:
- Own transport required due to the site location
- NVQ/Diploma or apprenticeship in Welding/Fabrication
- Ability to read from technical drawings
- Experience in structural & architectural metal fabrication is required
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG & arc welding techniques
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in small team environments
- Strong problem solving skills
Benefits:
- Weekly pay whilst working via Prime Appointments for first 3 months'

Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
