Salary: £34.300 - £39.200 (inclusive of sleep-ins) dependent on experience & qualifications

Shift Pattern: 2 on (plus sleep-ins), 4 off

Driving Licence Required: Yes (Full UK Licence required)

We are looking for Residential Children's Support Workers and Seniors to join a well-established residential childcare provider in Colwyn Bay. This organisation also offers supported living services and education, ensuring young people have a stable, nurturing, and supportive environment to thrive.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting
  • Help young people develop essential life skills, emotional resilience, and positive relationships
  • Manage and support young people displaying challenging behaviours, using de-escalation techniques and a trauma-informed approach
  • Engage in activities, promote education, and encourage personal growth
  • Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of all young people in the home
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, following care plans and organisational policies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working within residential childcare setting
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential
  • A full UK driving licence (Essential - applications from non-drivers will not be considered)
  • A willingness to work 2 on, 4 off shifts (including sleep-ins after each shift)
  • A strong sense of empathy, resilience, and commitment
