Customer and Service Coordinator required for an industry leading provider of laboratory equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to play an integral role within a position that offers variety during an exciting time of company growth.
The successful candidate will need experience overseeing and coordinating the delivery of professional services. Candidates will need to demonstrate experience managing customer relationships and hold leadership experience.
Reporting into the company’s Head of Operations, the Customer and Service Coordinator will oversee the delivery of services to customers through a field-based engineering team. You will be a key point of contact for customers and will ensure projects are completed by the engineering team on time and within budget.
The Customer and Service Coordinator Role:
· Managing customer relationships – acting as a ‘trusted advisor’ and their main point of contact
· Oversee the delivery of multiple projects at a time, including monitoring the quality of service and balancing customer requirements and internal resources
· Will lead an engineering team of eight, which will involve offering guidance, conducting reviews, identifying training needs
· Management of resources and budgets
· Identify process improvements
· Provide the Head of Operations with sales support – this will involve preparing quotes and presentations, however, training on this can be provided
· Using CRM to take customer orders
· Occasional travel to customer sites for site surveys
· Hybrid – 3 Days in Office, 2 Days working from home
