I am currently recruiting for a Graduate Engineer - a role where training will be provided to boost your skillset in mechanical and electronic branches of engineering, as well as quality control and health and safety. As a Graduate Engineer, you will train to become a top-notch Geotechnical Engineer with the opportunity for national and international travel. This role is perfect for someone with a willingness to be adaptable and travel at short notice. My clients are one of a small few companies worldwide that manufacture this niche geological product. Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the geophysical team to conduct geological data analysis and equipment maintenance.
  • A large portion of this role involves travel to sites across the UK and occasionally further afield to deploy electronic probes and analyse the geophysical data collated from these.
  • The role also involves quality control tests and health and safety adherence of equipment to ensure a smooth deployment of electronic probes.
  • This is a hands-on role where the ideal candidate will throw themselves in and not be scared to get their hands dirty.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Degree qualified in engineering - ideally Geophysical but open to Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and other disciplines of engineering.
  • The right person for the job will be adaptable and willing to travel at short-notice for extended periods of time.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electronic systems and use of relevant tools is desirable.
