We are working with a national contracting group who are experiencing a sustained period of growth and expansion within thier water and wastewater sector.
They have secured a strong pipeline of future work within the North Wales geographical area and as such have an opening for a Project Manager to join their growing team.
Projects included all aspects of water infrastructure from treatment works, pumping stations, pipelines, MEICA and R&M.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Working with estimating teams on tenders
- Developing and presenting project proposals
- Meeting with clients to scope out requirements
- Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
- Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients
- Managing construction schedules and budgets
- Attending site meetings to monitor progress
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and site on project
- Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
- Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards
- Overseeing final accounts at the end of a project
Skills and Experience
- Degree or HND qualified in Construction or Project Management. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4
- Experience of site/project management within civil engineering
- Water experience desirable but not essential
