The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Preparing and presenting annual budgets, management accounts and future forecasts to Managers, the Leadership Team and Board Members to support the Business Plan.
- Being responsible for monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate information for the Management Accounts.
- Utilising and setting up processes, procedures and contracts.
- Undertaking ad-hoc projects and identify process improvements when they arise.
- Assisting with the statutory accounts as required.
- To support the Finance Business Partner in the leadership of the Finance function and deputise for them when required to do so.
- Input of financial data onto the House mark to enable benchmarking with other Registered Social Landlords.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification and experience:
- AAT fully qualified or equivalent qualification
- Experience of preparing and presenting annual budgets
- Experience of preparing and presenting Management Accounts to Managers, Executive and Board Members
- Experience monthly reconciliation and support statutory accounts
