We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller / Warehouse Operative to join a leading manufacturing business based in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a proactive and growing team where your input is truly valued, and where you'll be trusted to take ownership of stock and warehouse operations with the freedom to make a real impact.

Location: Corby
Shift: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (early finish Friday)
Salary: £28,412 per annum

Duties:

  • Manage goods inwards: unloading, booking in, and accurate labelling of deliveries.
  • Handle stock management: issue materials to jobs, process returns, maintain stock records in real time.
  • Perform pick, pack, and dispatch tasks: ensure correct labelling, wrapping, and dispatch documentation.
  • Support production planning by tracking deliveries and updating schedules.
  • Maintain warehouse organisation and cleanliness, adhering to Health & Safety standards.
  • Conduct forklift checks and site maintenance as needed.
  • Provide flexible support across production areas including moulding line, packing, or basic operator tasks.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  • Have previous experience in stock control, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Possess a full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Be reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Be confident with manual handling and basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
